The SIG Sauer MCX is a semi-automatic .300 Blackout pistol with a 9-inch barrel and a black finish. Its gas-piston operating system and polymer grip support steady cycling, and the ambidextrous manual safety works from either side. A full-length top rail makes the platform optic ready. It weighs 7.9 pounds, measures 28.5 inches overall and is supplied without factory sights, and it accepts 30-round magazines.
In New York this pistol suits range and home defense buyers who want a .300 Blackout platform with a 30+1 capacity and an optic-ready rail. A New York pistol license must be on file before a dealer transfers a handgun, and the semiautomatic rifle license noted on this page also applies to semi-automatic rifles.
